Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adults in a 26-bed inpatient behavioral health unit
Build meaningful connections with geriatric patients while supporting their mental health journey
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment using evidence-based de-escalation techniques

Qualifications

Active RN license in Utah or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of recent behavioral health or psych nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Experience caring for geriatric and dementia populations
Comfort working with patients experiencing bipolar disorder and other mood disorders
Ability to work independently during night shifts
Familiarity with seclusion protocols and safety procedures
