Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute care, ICU, oncology, cardiology, and med-surg units
Provide specialized treatment for ventilated patients and total joint replacements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and mobility
Manage a varied caseload that includes cardiac surgery patients and complex medical conditions
Document care using Cerner EMR and contribute to seamless care transitions

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in orthopedics, total joints, ICU, and ventilator management

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR proficiency
Acute care physical therapy expertise
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
ICU and ventilator patient management
Oncology and cardiology patient populations
Med-surg therapy interventions
