Location: Garden City, Kansas

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead and oversee both the Cath Lab and ICU departments with passion and expertise
Build a positive nursing culture while enhancing staff competency and professional growth
Provide bedside procedure support and moderate sedation during cardiac and vascular cases
Titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex critical care patients with confidence
Mentor and support nursing staff across both units to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Coordinate pre-procedure preparation and recovery care for optimal patient experiences
Float to other departments as a helping hand when needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency required
Critical care and telemetry experience preferred
Fluoro license helpful for technical staff coordination

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership skills to build culture and enhance nursing competency
Expertise in cardiac, vascular, EP, and IR procedures
Proficiency with vasoactive drips, moderate sedation, and ventilator management
Ability to read and monitor telemetry strips independently
Experience with self-scheduling and flexible call coverage
