Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, 24-hour call coverage, ongoing availability

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide full-scope CV surgical coverage for emergency and elective cases
Deliver 24-hour call support across three local facilities
Perform cardiac and thoracic procedures as needed
Harvest veins independently when required
Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Board Certified or Board Eligible in CV or Cardiothoracic Surgery
Active Texas medical license or IMLC with LOQ
Clean malpractice history preferred
BLS and ACLS certification highly preferred
CV or Cardiothoracic surgery fellowship required

Knowledge & Skills

Full-scope CV surgery expertise
Cardiac and thoracic procedure proficiency
Ability to harvest veins independently
Comfortable with 10-15 patients per day
Experience with Cerner, McKesson Cardiology, Paragon, and CHS EMR systems
