Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, expert care to laboring and postpartum patients
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Pitocin and Magnesium
Support families through every stage of the birthing journey
Collaborate with a dedicated team in a Blue Distinction+ unit
Deliver outstanding patient experiences with high satisfaction scores

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Willingness to complete open-book skills exam during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong labor and delivery assessment skills
Experience with high-risk OB patients including hypertension and diabetes
Comfortable managing Pitocin, Magnesium, and Procardia drips
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
