Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts - Days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between various medical and surgical units providing compassionate, high-quality care
Deliver expert nursing support across Medical, Laulima, and Cardiovascular units
Monitor patients using advanced equipment including wound vacs and chest tubes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units while maintaining excellent clinical standards

Qualifications

Active Hawaii nursing license required by start date
BLS and ACLS certifications required
2-10 years of nursing experience
Preferred certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC

Knowledge & Skills

Meditech EMR documentation
Pyxis medication management
Wound vac application and management
Chest tube monitoring and care
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
