Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in both ICU and Step-Down units
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and execute individualized patient plans of care
Administer medications and treatments safely while following the latest evidence-based protocols
Document thoroughly and accurately to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance
Use critical thinking to anticipate patient needs and escalate concerns promptly through the proper chain of command
Support unit performance improvement initiatives and mentor colleagues across departments

Qualifications

Active Illinois RN license in good standing
Current ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and NIHSS certifications
Minimum two years of recent ICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center
Willingness to float between ICU and Step-Down ICU units
Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong command of the nursing process and critical care protocols
Excellent medication administration and patient assessment skills
Clear, timely documentation practices
Ability to think quickly and prioritize in fast-paced environments
Collaborative spirit and a genuine passion for patient advocacy
