Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour AM/PM shifts with every other weekend requirement and 2 twelve-hour call shifts every 4 weeks

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $73 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a supportive LDRP environment
Circulate and scrub in the OR for cesarean sections when needed
Titrate critical medications including Pitocin, Fentanyl, and Labetalol to ensure patient safety
Monitor fetal strips and respond promptly to obstetrical emergencies
Collaborate with OB techs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

Active RN license (90-day emergency license available if needed)
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Experience circulating and/or scrubbing in the OR for cesarean sections
Comfortable titrating drips and managing high-risk obstetric patients

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of labor and delivery protocols and AWHONN guidelines
Skilled in fetal monitoring and reading EFM strips
Proficient with GE Centricity EFM system
Ability to respond quickly to obstetrical emergencies and hypertension or hemorrhage cases
