Location: Tacoma, Washington

Start Date: 05-28-2026

End Date: 08-27-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional weekends, holidays, and limited call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI procedures with precision and care
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and start IVs to ensure accurate diagnostic imaging
Collaborate with radiologists and cardiology teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Operate GE and Phillips nuclear medicine equipment while maintaining safety standards
Document studies thoroughly using EPIC and McKesson PACS systems

Qualifications

Active WA state license required
ARRT-N or NMTCB certification
BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
Comfortable starting IVs and working independently

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and safety protocols
Experience with stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI imaging
Proficiency with EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems
Ability to work with GE and Phillips imaging equipment
Excellent patient care and communication skills
