Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert care to mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages
• Independently attend deliveries and circulate during C-sections with confidence and skill
• Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
• Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips while monitoring patient responses closely
• Support high-risk pregnancies including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance-use cases with compassion
• Collaborate with 24/7 OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers for seamless care
• Function across the full LDRP spectrum, including postpartum couplet care and low-risk deliveries

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
• Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
• Comfortable working independently during deliveries and C-sections
• No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong LDRP clinical skills across 33+ week gestations
• Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Experience with Centricity Perinatal EFM system
• Competent with high-risk OB diagnoses and social considerations
• Adaptable to unit workflows and open to constructive feedback
• Team-oriented with excellent communication during emergent situations
