Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care that promotes comfort and enhances quality of life for residents
Lead and mentor Resident Assistants with coaching, training, and education on proper nursing techniques
Deliver safe, professional care following facility policies, nursing standards, and state and federal regulations
Follow each resident's individualized plan of care to improve their daily experience
Administer medications accurately and on time while maintaining strong assessment skills
Uphold the Choices Philosophy of Care by treating every resident with dignity and respect
Maintain a safe environment by following universal precautions and infection control standards

Qualifications

Active Alaska LPN licensure required
Current American Heart Association BLSP (CPR) certification required
1 year of Long Term Care nursing experience preferred
New graduates welcome with an 8-12 month preceptorship at Heritage Place

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical leadership abilities
Excellent communication and coaching skills
Commitment to safety and infection control practices
Ability to follow individualized plans of care
Dedication to resident dignity and person-centered care
