Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-acuity care to cardiac and post-surgical patients
Monitor and respond to complex cardiac conditions with confidence and skill
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
Float to Med/Surg units as needed, expanding your clinical versatility
Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and lifestyle changes

Qualifications

Active California RN license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of critical care experience
EPIC charting experience
Successful completion of prior travel assignments

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac assessment and arrhythmia detection skills
Comfort managing pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients
Ability to care for patients with CHF, pneumonia, and multiple comorbidities
Flexibility to float between Cardiovascular and Med/Surg units
Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities
