Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Monitor and assess patient condition, reporting changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the medical record
• Respond effectively to emergencies and escalate per protocol
• Support patients and families with education, guidance, and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be valid for practice in California
• Experience or familiarity with MST (as listed in the role)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Comfort working overnight shifts and in fast-paced clinical settings
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team

Education

• Active RN licensure in California
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and bedside nursing skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competencies
• Accurate documentation and charting in electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and manage multiple patients
• Familiarity with MST protocols or specialty area workflow
• Team collaboration and clear communication with providers and support staff
