Shift Type: Days, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, first to float

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage telemetry patients with precision and care
Deliver compassionate nursing to MedSurg patients across ortho, surgical, and medical cases
Administer critical drips like amiodarone, heparin, and nitro while reading strips confidently
Collaborate with RT and monitor techs to support bipap/CPAP needs
Float seamlessly between units to ensure top-notch patient care everywhere
Handle high-acuity cardiac cases from post-cath to TAVR recovery with expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
2+ years of recent experience
Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
Comfortable in Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring
Ready to thrive in 1:4 ratios with a team-oriented spirit

Education

ADN or BSN (BSN not required)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry expertise with Phillips monitors
MedSurg proficiency across diverse patient types
Drip management for cardiac and renal protocols
Strip reading and cardiac stepdown care
Floating adaptability between units
