Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Act as charge nurse, leading and coordinating daily resident care
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with a small, close-knit team in a 26-bed facility
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for residents with chronic conditions

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification (required)
At least 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
Ability to pass meds and perform wound care confidently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in LTC nursing and geriatric care
Familiarity with EMR systems, especially Matrix
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Compassionate approach to caring for residents with dementia, diabetes, and heart disease
