Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a rural LDRP setting
Triage patients and serve as the baby catcher and transition nurse during deliveries
Titrate Pitocin drips to support safe labor progression
Collaborate with on-call providers to ensure timely, high-quality care
Support postpartum recovery and newborn bonding in a close-knit community hospital

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ALS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications required
At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience with LDRP training
Comfortable functioning independently as both labor nurse and baby catcher
Willingness to float to Med-Surg on rare occasions

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP and triage experience
Pitocin titration proficiency
Ability to read fetal monitoring strips independently
Comfort working in a small, rural hospital environment
Flexible and team-oriented approach to scheduling needs
