End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating weekends; optional call

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to L&D and postpartum patients
Monitor fetal heart tracings using FetalLink and Cerner EMR
Circulate for cesarean sections and assist with deliveries
Collaborate with OB techs, charge nurses, and neonatologists
Float to postpartum, NICU (grower/feeders), and assist with team needs
Maintain patient safety and adherence to AWOHNN guidelines

Qualifications

At least 2-3 years of recent L&D/PP experience
Previous travel contract experience preferred
Active ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications
Fetal monitoring certification (AWOHNN intermediate or advanced)
Stable certification preferred
Ability to circulate c-sections and handle high-risk deliveries

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner and FetalLink systems
Knowledge of AWOHNN staffing ratios and guidelines
Comfortable with high-risk OB, substance withdrawal, and Spanish-speaking patients
Team player with strong communication skills
Adaptability to float across units
