Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, includes every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate in the OR during C-sections and other surgical procedures
Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Perform normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
Float to postpartum unit as needed to support mom and baby care
Titrate critical drips like Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate
Collaborate with a dynamic team of physicians, residents, and CRNAs

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience preferred
Ability to circulate in the OR and perform newborn assessments
Driver's license required (to verify 50-mile radius rule)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor and delivery nursing
Proficiency in OR circulating and sterile technique
Strong skills in newborn assessment and care
Ability to read EFM strips using Obix system
Team player with a positive, flexible attitude
