Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, including every third weekend and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients
Circulate during cesarean sections in the OR
Perform newborn assessments and routine baby care
Titrate medications such as Pitocin and Magnesium Sulfate as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including residents and anesthesiologists
Float to postpartum unit and occasionally serve as a patient sitter

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications
Minimum of 1 year of recent L&D experience
Ability to circulate in the OR
Strong assessment skills for newborns and postpartum patients
Willingness to float to postpartum unit

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of AWHONN guidelines
Proficiency in titrating drips like Pitocin and Magnesium
Experience with EFM (Obix system)
Teamwork and flexibility
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
