Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips with precision
Titrate cardiac, insulin, and sedation drips to optimize patient outcomes
Collaborate with nurse aides and healthcare support techs to deliver seamless care
Float to PCU or MedSurg units when needed while maintaining excellent patient ratios
Respond promptly to on-call situations within 30 minutes when required

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent ICU experience preferred
Valid driver's license for radius verification at submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
Proficient with drip titration and vent troubleshooting
Comfortable floating to PCU and MedSurg with flexible patient ratios
Excellent assessment and critical-thinking abilities
