Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub independently for cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
• Assist with total joint replacements and orthopedic trauma surgeries
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields for a variety of procedures including orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neurosurgery
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety
• Utilize advanced surgical technology including DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
• Respond to call within 15 minutes when scheduled for weeknight or weekend coverage

Qualifications

• Current CST certification preferred but not required
• BLS certification required
• Strong experience in orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures
• Proven ability to scrub independently for cranial and neuro-trauma cases
• General OR experience with comfort working in a Level II trauma setting
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in scrubbing for complex cranial and neuro procedures
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
• Strong understanding of orthopedic trauma and total joint protocols
• EPIC EMR documentation skills
• Ability to maintain strict sterile technique and follow fingernail policy
• Excellent communication and patient safety awareness
