Virtual Monitor Tech
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-23-2026
End Date: 09-22-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, no set schedules, weekends and holidays required
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor up to 60 patients remotely using advanced cardiac surveillance technology
- Detect and report dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias following established protocols
- Collaborate with local RN staff to ensure timely responses to cardiac events
- Accurately interpret EKG readings and take appropriate action in real-time
- Contribute to improved patient outcomes and department performance metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent related work experience in cardiac monitoring
- Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia exam with lethal rhythms section (one attempt only)
- Graduation from an accredited program including EKG Interpretation
- Strong cardiac rhythm recognition and arrhythmia detection skills
- Ability to work independently in a centralized virtual monitoring environment
