End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with weeknight call Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM every 2-3 days and weekend call Friday 3:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday rotating every other weekend or full weekend coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional perioperative care across a wide variety of surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams using advanced DaVinci Xi robotic systems
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support patient care needs
Respond to call within 30 minutes to ensure continuous OR coverage
Maintain the highest standards of patient safety during general, orthopedic, GYN, ENT, and trauma procedures
Adapt quickly to new EMR systems and surgical information technology

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 2-3 years of operating room experience
Previous travel nursing experience required
BLS certification required
Proficiency with DaVinci Xi robotic systems
Experience across multiple surgical specialties including general, ortho, GYN, ENT, and GI procedures
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile technique
Familiarity with Surgical Information Systems (SIS) or similar EMR platforms
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to float between nearby campuses as needed
Commitment to reliable attendance and professional standards
