Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM and 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care for surgical patients
Monitor and assess patients recovering from ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Respond to on-call needs with a one-hour response time to support your unit
Float to support other areas as needed while delivering outstanding care
Read and interpret cardiac strips to ensure patient safety
Assist with lunch relief and support charge nurses in maintaining smooth operations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
ED or ICU experience preferred
Epic EMR experience
Ability to work variable shifts and take on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable working with vents, CPAP, and BiPAP equipment
Experience recovering ICU patients in a PACU setting
Flexible and adaptable to changing patient needs
