Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients in a Level 3 facility
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence and independence
Circulate and recover C-section patients while ensuring optimal outcomes
Monitor antepartum patients and titrate critical drips including Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin
Float to Mother-Baby unit and other areas as census requires
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips using ACLS and AFM expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Strong experience with high-risk labor, delivery, and antepartum patients
Comfortable with vaginal exams, internal monitoring, and C-section circulation
Cerner documentation experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
C-section circulation and recovery
High-risk antepartum and laboring patient management
Floating flexibility across postpartum and other units
