Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend (Days: Saturday-Sunday; Nights: Friday-Saturday), holidays rotate with permanent staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert LDRP care for patients 33 weeks and above, including high-risk pregnancies
Independently attend deliveries and circulate in C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, smooth deliveries
Titrate Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin drips while monitoring maternal and fetal well-being
Collaborate with the 24/7 OB team, anesthesia providers, and NNPs to deliver seamless care
Support postpartum recovery and routine mother-baby competencies across the unit

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience; 1 year considered with multiple prior travel assignments
Comfortable working independently during deliveries and C-sections

Knowledge & Skills

Strong LDRP clinical skills from triage through postpartum
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Experience with Centricity perinatal documentation system
Adaptable to unit workflows, policies, and constructive feedback
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced birthing center
