Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM with approximately 120 hours of call per contract

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with a dynamic OR team to ensure smooth case flow and patient safety
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and expertise
Support the charge nurse and house supervisor while maintaining excellent communication
Float within Zone 1 when extreme needs arise to keep patient care seamless

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro cases
Charge nurse experience preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of OR procedures and sterile technique
Ability to handle 30+ cases per day across multiple specialties
Comfortable with 30-minute call response time
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
