Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call, every 5th or 6th weekend on call, and rotating holiday call

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating and scrub support across all surgical service lines
• Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Adapt quickly to a varied daily surgical schedule in a fast-paced OR
• Educate and mentor fellow staff while maintaining the highest safety standards
• Float to Pre/Post op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed to support patient care
• Maintain compliance with facility policies including the artificial nail prohibition

Qualifications

• Active RN license and current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong experience in Neurosurgery plus exposure to ENT, Orthopedic, GYN, General Surgery, and DaVinci Robotics
• Comfortable working in a facility without specialized service teams
• Must live outside the 50-mile radius and not be employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Willingness to complete a pass/fail open-book exam during orientation (90% required to pass)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
• Broad knowledge of adult, geriatric, pediatric, and obstetric surgical procedures
• Ability to function confidently in 7 ORs and 2 Endo suites
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to handle call, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
