Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases in the emergency department
Manage ventilators and bubble CPAP for neonates starting at 32 weeks in our level 2 nursery
Perform ABG draws, BiPAP and ventilator setups, and nebulizer treatments
Assist with intubations and provide standby support for conscious sedation and cardioversion
Collaborate with a lead therapist and 24/7 hospitalist/intensivist team for seamless patient care

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Strong NICU experience with bubble CPAP competency for 32 weeks and up
Ventilator management skills essential

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment
Bubble CPAP and BiPAP setup
ABG draws and nebulizer treatments
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
Team collaboration in a fast-paced inpatient environment
