Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-08-2026

End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, team scheduling with weekend requirements every third for days and every other for nights

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients from neonates to geriatrics across all hospital floors
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry procedures
Collaborate with providers and nursing staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Manage ventilators including Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion systems
Support patients with BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy using Vision, V60, V30, and Airvo2 equipment
Float throughout the hospital in various RT capacities as needed

Qualifications

Current RRT or CRT credential required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
NRP and PALS preferred
Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience required
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to work 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong time management and adaptability
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Willingness to learn and grow professionally
Experience with adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
Proficiency with various ventilator and respiratory equipment brands
