Location: Phoenix, Arizona

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 10-hour shifts with occasional Saturday coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert pre-op and PACU care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Monitor and recover patients following conscious sedation and general anesthesia
Collaborate with IR techs and physicians during body interventional cases including chemoembolization, Y-90, and vascular access procedures
Support critical care and telemetry patients throughout their radiology journey
Ensure safe, compassionate care in a fast-paced Level I trauma environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact license
BLS and ACLS certification required
PALS certification preferred
Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
Level I trauma experience required
Interventional Radiology experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfort managing vents and telemetry patients
Familiarity with Cerner EMR
Ability to work collaboratively with IR techs and multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
