Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM plus call coverage one evening per week (3:00 PM - 7:00 AM) and two weekends per month (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Circulate across all surgical specialties with confidence and skill
Support robotic-assisted procedures using DaVinci and Mako systems
Provide expert care during complex cardiovascular and neurosurgical cases
Collaborate with surgeons and the perioperative team to ensure safe outcomes
Precept new staff and contribute to a culture of excellence

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
Minimum 5 years of hospital operating room experience preferred
Proven ability to circulate in multiple surgical specialties
Robotics experience with DaVinci and Mako systems strongly preferred
Cardiovascular circulation experience including CABG procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Comfortable floating between two campuses as needed
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle trauma, robotics, and complex specialty cases
Reliable and committed to consistent attendance
