Respiratory Therapist
Location: Silverdale, Washington

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert ventilator management and respiratory support for adult and pediatric patients
- Deliver compassionate care in a strong level 2 nursery, including bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up
- Perform ABG draws, BiPAP and ventilator setups, and nebulizer treatments
- Assist with intubations and provide standby support for conscious sedation and cardioversion
- Collaborate with a dedicated lead therapist and 24/7 hospitalist/intensivist team
Qualifications
- Active Washington RT License required
- RRT or CRT credential accepted
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proven NICU experience with strong level 2 nursery competency
- Ventilator skills and ability to manage bubble CPAP required
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management with PB 980 and Philips V60 equipment
- Bubble CPAP and BiPAP setup expertise
- ABG draws and nebulizer treatments
- Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
