Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele
Location: Prescott, Arizona

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
- Interpret telemetry strips and sign documentation at least once per shift
- Collaborate with remote tele techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to support hospital-wide needs
- Deliver safe medication administration including set-rate drips such as Diltiazem
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience reading basic telemetry strips
- Some background with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry interpretation and basic strip reading
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with charge nurses and nurse aides
- Comfort with floating to different units and campuses
- Familiarity with Cerner documentation system
