Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Start Date: 06-15-2026
End Date: 09-14-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts 1-2 times per month
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
- Monitor patients recovering from conscious sedation and general anesthesia with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists during body IR procedures including chemoembolization, Y-90 treatments, and vascular access
- Support patients through CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies, ablations, and drainage procedures
- Ensure seamless patient flow through the pre-op and PACU areas while maintaining the highest safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- PALS certification preferred
- Level I trauma experience required
- Pre-op, PACU, or ICU experience strongly preferred
- Interventional Radiology experience a plus
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong assessment skills for pre and post-procedure patients
- Experience with conscious sedation recovery protocols
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to work collaboratively with IR techs and physicians
- Comfort managing both outpatient and critical care populations
