Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU
Location: Garden City, Kansas
Start Date: 06-22-2026
End Date: 09-21-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Self-scheduling with elective cases Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, plus 24/7 call coverage including weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee both Cath Lab and ICU departments with confidence
- Build a positive, supportive culture that empowers your nursing team
- Coordinate pre-procedure, recovery, and bedside procedural support
- Mentor staff and enhance clinical competencies across units
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and patient care delivery with excellence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure top-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Active RN license with 3 years of nursing experience
- 1 year of management experience and 1 year of clinical leadership experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CRRT competency
- Strong background in critical care, telemetry, and vasoactive drips
- Fluoro license preferred for technical staff oversight
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care and telemetry expertise
- Experience with vasoactive drips and moderate sedation
- Comfort managing both Cath Lab and ICU patient populations
- Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
- Leadership skills to support and develop nursing staff
