Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, varied start times, no block scheduling

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Cover all three phases of endoscopy care including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery
Administer and monitor MAC sedation and procedural sedation for patients undergoing EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, and more
Circulate during MAC cases and serve as sedator during procedural sedation cases
Respond to bedside procedures in the ER and ICU when needed
Collaborate with physicians and techs to ensure smooth, safe procedures every day
Participate in call rotation including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of endoscopy or procedural experience
Experience with procedural sedation required
Call experience required
Comfortable floating between two nearby campuses

Knowledge & Skills

Strong sedation monitoring and airway management skills
Familiarity with EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, bronchs, EUS, and PEG procedures
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume endoscopy unit
Excellent communication and teamwork with physicians and tech staff
