Shift Type: Varied shifts, 8-hour days with weekend call required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care during EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, MRCP, and biopsy procedures
Administer moderate sedation when anesthesia support is unavailable
Document accurately using Cerner-Surginet EMR
Collaborate with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
Float to PACU/ACU units as needed to support patient care
Respond to on-call needs including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

Active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
At least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience
Moderate sedation experience preferred
Cerner charting experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Moderate sedation administration
Cerner and Surginet documentation systems
Endoscopy and GI lab procedures
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to float between units and adapt quickly
