Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care for cardiac and vascular patients, including downgraded CVICU patients
Administer and titrate cardiac drips such as amiodarone, nitroglycerin, nicardipine, and epinephrine
Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with thoracic, EP, cath lab, and structural heart teams
Float to units of same or lower acuity as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience in a CVU or similar cardiac intermediate care setting
Valid driver's license for compliance with radius rule
Ability to titrate multiple cardiac drips

Knowledge & Skills

Drip titration and cardiac medication management
Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Intermediate care for CHF, A fib, and post-cardiac procedure patients
Strong communication and teamwork skills
