Registered Nurse - CVOR – UHC Staffing

Registered Nurse - CVOR

Location: Stockton, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts with weeknight call starting at 6:30 PM until 6:00 AM the next morning (minimum 2 nights per 4-week schedule) and weekend call every 2nd or 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $95 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room
Collaborate with surgical teams during complex cardiac and vascular procedures
Monitor patients throughout pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases
Assist with a wide variety of cases including General, Vascular, Ortho, Endo, and Urology surgeries
Support the Open Heart Surgery program with precision and compassion
Float to Main OR when needed to support overall OR operations

Qualifications

Active California RN license required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CNOR certification preferred
Cerner experience required
No first-time travelers
Previous CVOR experience strongly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of Cerner electronic medical records system
Ability to work in both CVOR and general OR settings
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable handling high-volume case loads of 23-25 cases per day
Flexible and adaptable to call requirements
