Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with rotating on-call requirements (one weekday per week and one weekend per month)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform scrub and circulating duties for CVOR procedures including open heart, TAVR, endovascular, and thoracic surgeries
Assist in holding the heart and closing the chest during cardiac cases
Collaborate with surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
Float to General OR as needed to support surgical volume
Take call as scheduled and respond within 30 minutes

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR experience with open heart and endovascular procedures
Ability to scrub in for cardiac procedures

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Epic EMR
Expertise in open heart and endovascular surgical techniques
Strong knowledge of CVOR instrumentation and sterile technique
Effective communication and teamwork skills
