Location: Carmichael, California

Start Date: 07-07-2026

End Date: 10-06-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with every other weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate comprehensive care for patients across all hospital units
Conduct initial assessments and develop discharge plans
Perform utilization review using Interqual criteria
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe transitions
Manage cases involving diverse payers, uninsured, and homeless populations
Document all activities in Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS certification
Prior recent experience with Dignity Health / CommonSpirit (required)
Experience in case management, utilization review, and discharge planning
Familiarity with Interqual (training available)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to prioritize and reprioritize in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with Interqual and Cerner EMR
