Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (typical for outpatient radiation therapy)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer radiation treatments with precision and care
Collaborate with radiation oncologists and dosimetrists to implement treatment plans
Position patients accurately and ensure their comfort during procedures
Monitor patient reactions and provide compassionate support
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols
Document patient treatments and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

Certification as a Radiation Therapist from an accredited program
ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (required)
Current state license to practice as a Radiation Therapist
Experience in radiation oncology settings preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
CPR certification (BLS) preferred

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from a JRCERT-accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of radiation therapy procedures and equipment
Understanding of anatomy and positioning
Proficiency in electronic medical records
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient safety and quality care
