Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure patients' medication therapy needs are met through accurate, timely clinical pharmacy services and safe drug distribution
• Manage unit dose and IV admixture operations to maintain safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance
• Provide clinical consultations and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication outcomes
• Teach and mentor pharmacy staff, residents, and students to strengthen the learning environment
• Perform administrative duties including documentation, policy adherence, and quality improvement initiatives
• Conduct and contribute to pharmacy research projects that improve practice and patient care
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and clinical teams while working independently as a self-directed clinician

Qualifications

• Hospital pharmacy experience required (position specifies not retail)
• Familiarity with unit dose systems and IV admixture preparation
• Strong computer skills and experience with pharmacy informatics
• Demonstrated clinical pharmacy and technical pharmacy practice knowledge
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Commitment to compliance with applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies
