Location: Santa Maria, California

End Date: 08-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with every 3rd weekend rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver personalized occupational therapy services in patients' homes across your assigned region
Help patients regain independence with activities of daily living after strokes, joint replacements, and spinal injuries
Collaborate with PTs, OTs, and Speech therapists as part of an integrated home health team
Complete OASIS documentation to ensure compliance with government requirements
Support patients and families with education and home exercise programs that truly matter

Qualifications

Active Occupational Therapist license in California
BLS certification required
At least one year of experience as an OT
Experience with OASIS documentation required
Home health experience preferred but not mandatory
Cerner EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and treatment planning skills for home-based patients
Comfortable working independently in a variety of home environments
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Familiarity with OASIS and Cerner EMR systems
Compassionate approach to helping patients achieve their goals
