Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-level care to critically ill neonates in a Level 4 NICU
• Monitor and manage premature infants, cardiac defects, genetic disorders, and surgical cases
• Perform skilled procedures including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
• Collaborate with neonatologists, midlevels, and an interdisciplinary team 24/7
• Educate and support families through their baby's journey to health

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Level 4 NICU experience required (we check, promise!)
• Active BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association
• Cardiac STABLE certification or higher preferred
• Previous travel experience is a plus, but not required
• Comfort with sterile field technique – you'll be tested in SIMs Lab

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in neonatal critical care, including ventilators and ECMO
• Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance and infection control
• Proficient in Cerner EMR and telemetry monitoring
• Ability to float to mother-baby and labor care (babies only) as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
