Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of laboratory tests as a generalist across various departments
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including EPIC Beaker system
Rarely perform phlebotomy as needed
Ensure accuracy and quality of test results for patient care
Collaborate with healthcare team to support diagnosis and treatment
Adhere to safety and compliance standards

Qualifications

MLT or MT (Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist) certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a generalist in a clinical lab
BLS certification preferred (patient contact possible)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC and EPIC Beaker laboratory information systems
Knowledge of generalist lab procedures, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood bank
Basic phlebotomy skills (on rare occasions)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
