Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinical staff by preparing exam rooms and patient flow
Greet and triage patients with warmth and professionalism
Take and record vital signs and basic clinical measurements accurately
Support providers by documenting encounters and updating patient records
Prepare patients for procedures and assist during minor clinical tasks
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow infection control protocols
Participate in orientation and training to quickly become a productive team member

Qualifications

Certification or formal training as a Medical Assistant preferred
Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting and learning on the job
Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-centered approach
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient communication and bedside manner that puts people at ease
Familiarity with electronic medical records or willingness to learn
Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with exams, specimen handling
Attention to detail for accurate documentation and charting
Teamwork mindset and reliability during shift coverage
