Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and prepare them for exams — your compassion sets the tone
Obtain and record vital signs and medical histories accurately
Assist clinical staff with examinations and procedures in a safe, professional manner
Perform point-of-care testing, basic specimen collection, and specimen labeling
Document patient encounters clearly in the electronic health record
Manage appointment flow and communicate effectively with the care team to keep things running smoothly
Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies to ensure a clean, compliant environment

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited MA program preferred
CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with basic clinical tasks: vitals, phlebotomy, specimen handling
Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
Ability to complete a brief orientation prior to starting clinical duties

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant certificate or diploma preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHR) or eagerness to learn
Basic phlebotomy and point-of-care testing knowledge
Excellent patient communication and customer-service skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
