Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians with patient care tasks and clinical procedures
Prepare exam rooms, ensure supplies are stocked, and maintain a clean environment
Obtain and record vital signs and patient histories accurately
Document patient information in the chart or electronic system in a timely manner
Perform point-of-care testing and basic clinical duties as directed
Provide clear, compassionate patient education and instructions
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Participate in orientation and team huddles to support smooth operations

Qualifications

Medical Assistant (MA) credential preferred or equivalent clinical training
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable performing clinical tasks in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Strong communication and patient-service skills; teamwork mindset
Ability to complete required orientation and any facility-specific onboarding

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Medical Assistant certification or formal MA training preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with clinical workflows and basic medical procedures
Comfort with charting and following documentation best practices
Good organization and time-management skills for efficient patient flow
Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Professional, patient-focused bedside manner
